Adaptability

Adaptability of the human brain rests on the conceptualization process. In response to the sensory input, the concept network of the brain employs learning and selective forgetting to generalize, crystallize concepts, and model the reality.

The nature of the conceptualization process should shape educational strategies. Instead of learning from the curriculum, humans should adapt to the world as they see it. That adaptation may involve school-like activities (e.g. reading, asking questions, etc.), however, it should be based entirely on the needs arising form the environment and the ensuing goal conceptualization. Coercion in learning is extremely harmful. All humans should employ free learning for best adaptability.
