Farmer's lifestyle is a healthy lifestyle often used at this site as a metaphor for the adherence to the demands of human physiology anointed in the course of biological evolution.
A farmer wakes up early, works hard all day in a farmland, and goes to sleep pleasantly tired with a sense of having a productive day.
The following aspects of lifestyle are emphasized:
- the value of early rising with sunrise for the function of the circadian cycle
- minimization of evening electricity to reduce the injury to the circadian cycle
- the value of exercise for mental health
- the value of exposure to farmland pathogens for the development of adaptive immunity (e.g. in contrast to daycare)
- the value of cold exposure for immunity
- unschooling and hard work ethic (as opposed to rigorous academic schooling)
- attachment parenting as opposed to baby management
- healthy visual environment
