Koniec Przymusu Szkolnego is a Facebook group aimed at ending school coercion in Poland. In the long run, we hope to spark similar efforts around the world, esp. if this particular initiative is successful. The name means End School Coercion in Polish

- group was created by a high school graduate, Julian Kwasniak, in September 2020 in the wake of football field conversations among teenage friends
- group was growing slowly and linearly till June 2021
- the petition attracted some adult membership, incl. democratic school activists (e.g. Ola Domagala and Michal Sienicki)
- the group also attracted first international activists who use Google Translator to monitor the progress of the group: Palace and Alex Giorev
- in early July 2021, the petition got a powerful boost. Peter Gray expressed support. In Poland, a reformer teacher Marcin Stiburski expressed his support and joined the group
- the expertise of the group was strengthened further by the arrival of the fervent advocate of free learning Dr Tomasz Tokarz, rebellious teacher Christian Ostrowski, and the veteran of the battle against school coercion in Poland: Witold Zbijewski

- Sep 12, 2021: the date for the School Strike has been set for Mar 21, 2022 (see Student Spring 2022)
