Matrix OF or matrix of optimal factors is a 2-dimensional matrix of O-Factors. The matrix defines the function of optimum intervals. The entries of the matrix determine how much intervals should increase in review. The columns of the matrix represent item complexity (expressed as E-Factor or A-Factor). The rows of the matrix represent memory stability (expressed as repetition number or repetition category).
O-factors were first used in Algorithm SM-5 in 1989.
