MOOC
(Redirected from On-line learning)
MOOC or massive open online course is a learning course available on the web. Some futurists predict that future college will be based on the concept of MOOCs.
supermemo.com provides a great deal of courseware based on the tried-and-true SuperMemo method. It has proven very effective in learning languages.
MOOCs have been criticized for one-size-fits-all and low completion rates. The power of MOOCs comes from freedom. One size does not fit all. This is why students pick and choose. This is also why completion rates fall. Rich choice in MOOCs will silence those critical voices pretty fast.
