SuperMemo 11 (aka SuperMemo 2002) was released in 2002. It was the first implementation of incremental reading based on HTML (previously RTF). It introduced mid-interval repetition that made it possible to execute subset review on items without interfering in the long-term learning process. It added direct automatic imports from Internet Explorer, which simplified and accelerated the process of knowledge acquisition (Web import).
