Tasklist is a form of to-do list used in SuperMemo. All tasks (jobs) on a tasklist have a form of a SuperMemo element. They are sorted by priority. Priority is determined by the ratio Value : Time along the following formula:

  Priority=Value/Time

where:

  • Priority: priority of a job on a tasklist
  • Value: value of a job, e.g. expressed in terms of money
  • Time: estimated time needed to complete the job (alternatively, cost can be used instead of time)

For example, a job worth $100 that takes 20 minutes will be valued at $300 per hour. It is not uncommon for people to work for much less than the actual value of their time. Honest valuations may help understand the true value of time and/or money.
